· Lead the development and execution of our IT strategy aligned with our Trust Improvement Plan.
· Lead and develop our skilled IT team to form a central Trust service, nurturing a high-performance culture across schools and college, wider Trust activities and central functions.
· Champion innovation and transformation through effective digital systems across all sites.
· Oversee major Trust-wide projects, infrastructure, security, and compliance, including Cyber accreditations.
· Serve as the principal IT adviser to the COO, senior leaders, and school teams.
· Deliver outstanding, secure, and scalable IT services that meet the needs of staff, learners, and the wider community.
· A qualification in an ICT-related subject (or equivalent experience).
· Proven track record of leading IT strategies and operations in complex, multi-site environments.
· Technical knowledge (e.g., Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtual environments, firewalls).
· Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Passion for innovation, service excellence, and driving positive change.

It is envisaged that this full time, year-round, role will be undertaken through a blended approach of working in our academies/college, at home and at the Trust’s central office in Rossendale.
